Was waiting patiently for Ja Ramen to open up in Port Charlotte. And here they are at last. The atmosphere, the service and the food were excellent. I had a squid salad for appetizer, perfectly prepared, flavorful , the presentation was top notch, cold Asahi to accompany. For entree I opted in to Half Sea tonkotsu with chili oil on side so I could add it for spicy level I could handle. It was very delish -what can I say? The server was lovely and helpful and knowledgeable. I shall return soon !!

What an awesome place to eat. I will say it's not cheap, but it is totally worth every bit of the cost. Generous portions and fantastic flavors. The service was very good and helpful with my group's questions. We had two ramen dishes and two curry dishes so we were all able to sample different things and it was all delicious. I will be eating here again.

Has quickly become a favorite of ours. The servers are always great and attentive. I highly recommend the Japanese curry, always a warm comforting dish anytime.

Delicious!!!! Very accommodating to customized orders. I had the dumpling ramen with a spicy miso broth, my husband had spicy tonkotsu, and my daughter had the Japanese bbq wings. The ramen bowl was huge, it was more than enough for myself and my teenage daughter to share. We can’t wait to come back and try more things! The server was very sweet and attentive. Atmosphere relaxing. A new family favorite!

I love their decor, so homely, yet chic. The place is clean and Janelle my server was a sweetheart. They have a well detailed menu with lunch specials at 14, so I decided to have a pork belly ramen soup with steamed chicken dumplings at the side. They have an array of soups, entrees and combos. They serve authentic Asian cuisine with a burst of flavor in every bite. My soup came with squid, pork belly, ramen, boiled egg, shavings of ginger, packed with goodness and served piping hot and very quickly. We will be returning!

Our server was amazing! He was super attentive and kind! The other workers there too were super nice and the whole atmosphere there is perfect. I also love that their booths give more of a private feel to them!

Jenn was our waitress and she was very patient and kind. She took the time to answer our questions and give us some recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing! Very cute decor with some photo ops.

The food was absolutely awesome. My granddaughter loves coming here and that works put well for me too. She got the Spicy Tonkatsu and it was awesome. They will make it how you want as well. This time I got the non spicy Tonkatsu but have had the Shoyu as well and it was amazing as well. We had the Mochi ice cream and matcha cheesecake. Everything we have had here the last three times has been delicious, well served and authentic. Love this place! It has become a regular for us. 12/4/2024 - went back again. Love this place. This time ordered the Chicken Curry Katsu and it was amazing. Japanese curry is not spicy like Indian or Thai curry. Photos added (sorry took a few bites already) 3/8/25 - back again with family and friends. Love this place.
